Well...She was the widow not the divorcee. She was faithful to her husband until death until she met Prince Andreij, he was the one who got divorced to marry her. She must be quite an amazing woman despite all that.

No Erac, she was having an affair with King Peter II while being married to Dr.Lowe and King Peter II was even being treated in their hospital...after his death and after she met prince Andrej(not Andreij) Prince Tomislav was very much against this liaison...he told Andrej that it's not fair to have anything with a "long term female friend" of their late brother King Peter II,but to no avail...

He went back to Portugal to get divorced and she divorced her husband Dr.Lowe and left her two sons, just as he did left his children from both marriages...

So,at the time of her marriage to Andrej, she was not a widow, but a divorcee,as he was...

There are much more things about Eva-Marija and her role in life of both King Peter II and Prince Andrej...

Prince Tomislav stated in his memories that he thinks that she was fatal for both of them...and he also doubted the death circumstances concerning both of them...and so much more...

She must be quite an amazing woman despite all that. She did not publize her relationship to the world (like Zsa Zsa Gabor who married an adopted prince). I don't think she is so bad. The family she married into is not easy either. Remember Prince Andreij was divorced before and even Queen Alexandra of Greece (herself royal born) found the family not easy to get along especially with her mother-in-law and changing moods of her husband, King Peter. yet even she wrote a book...
