Did you get his bio from Eurohistory ? It was a short book (but well written) about Prince Paley's short life. He was a very good poet too.  ::)

Now tell me if this post could not have been a PM, like about 3,500 of your vacuous posts should have been. There is a point when such posts simply become the electronic version of trash cast out along the roadside, an eyesore that is discouraged and punished by fines.

I have never read that biography, but I will buy it someday. I always intend to, but never get around to it. Prince Vladimir Paley looked like his father's side of the family more than his beautiful mother's. His half brother Grand Duke Dmitri, also resembled the Romanovs more. They thus both had those elegant looks that we admire. Both had very different mothers, a morgantic countess and a Greek Princess. But it seems they both took after their father's side in looks. ;)

Yes...Both young man took after their father in looks (although there seemed to be a dash of Queen Olga in Dimiti, and some of Princess Paley's dark look in Vladimir).  ;)

Yes, Prince Vladimir did resemble his mother, as well. She was an interesting woman.. I have never come to see who his sisters resembled though.

I was looking at a picture of them as a family ( Grand Duke Paul's second family) in Camera and the Tsars last night, trying to see the sisters of Prince Vladimir and who they resembled. I think they both looked more like their mother, although somewhat, there is a look that reminds you of Marie P, their half sister.

From the Crypt of

The Illustrious Prince Vladimir Pavlovich Paley, Count of Hohenfelsen

Dear Admirers,

It has been brought to my attention here in my Peking crypt that I have become a topic of repeated discussion on this particular topic thread. May I so politely remind you that I am dead and currently reside in the spirit world. While I have long been considered one of the more artistic, understanding and tolerant members of my family, I do find the lustful nature of some of these posts upon my decayed corporeal being to be quite unhealthy. I am certain that my brother, Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich, would agree with me on this point, though in much stronger and colourful language not suitable for public reading. Please cease and desist in discussing my family and myself in such demeaning terms, we are all dead and prefer not to be regularly and publicly humiliated by being the objects of lustful curiosity, thinly disguised purient desires and unsettling ncro-carnal compulsions. Please try to find some compassion in your hearts and give us the respect that we deserve. Please allow us to rest in peace.

With the most sincere of intentions,

Volodya

Very interesting ! Hahaha.... ;D ;D ;D

DAVID, look,

as you see some posters are absolutely indifferent to what they say (just to say something and make bruhahahaah) and they are unaware that they look like ill-mannered.

Dear Svetabel,

Thank you for you understanding in my effort to stop posting pollution. You may have noticed that the subject of your wrath has over 5000 posts of little conscequence on this forum. Surely this subject is one of the top posters by volume but I am certain that no one but myself and a few others have noticed.

I think that the response concerning the late Diana, Prince of Wales shows everyone that we are not dealing with a historian or even a somewhat amateur historian but rather someone who actually buys the gossip tabloids at the grocery checkout. Thus long dead royals are treated in the same manner and mindset as Kate Moss' drug use, the latest word on David Beckham and the never ending saga of Angelina and Brad. There seems to be little chance of curbing this behaviour as the subject has no understanding of what of the offence it causes and rejoices when such behaviour is challenged. It is unfortunate that this by-product of the scandal sheet has infected this forum.

David
