Hello everyone! I am new to all this, and I'm not sure if this is the proper place to start this topic, but here goes... Does anyone out there have a copy of the book The Inheritors of Alexander the Great by Nicolas Tanztos? It's about King George I and his family. (since he married a Romanov Grand Duchess, I guess this is relevant to this website!) I have been trying to find a copy for years, it supposedly has great photos! Since I can't find the book, I'd love it if anyone who owns a copy could scan some of the best pictures!! Thank you!  :)

Eurohistory:
I got this book when it came out, Gosh almost 15 years ago or so...it seems like an eternity.

The photos are nice, but I must say that better efforts have been published, particvualrly of late with Prince Michael of Greece's marvelous new book on the Greek Dynasty.

Thank you for your help! Do you happen to know when they'll be coming out with that new book in English? Do you still have any copies available on your website? Thank you!

Eurohistory:
The book by Prince Michael is still available at eurohistory.com, just email me about it.

I have spoken to the publisher in Athens, when I fetched the books last June, and they told me that although they would love to get the book in English, thery hope to do s, but it is not certain or likely at the moment.

The photo cations are not difficult to identify and the photos included in the book are simply marvelous.

I have a copy of the book as I worked on it.  It was published in a limited edition and many of the photos were provided by the families.  I probably own most of the photos in the book (as I inherited George's photos - or at least a good selection of what could be found in his apartment.)  However, as many of these photos remain in copyright -and I do not own the rights to the actual photos . I would not be able to scan them.
