Books by Jacques Ferrand??
« on: June 17, 2006, 05:29:34 AM »
Hello,

I have been searching for quite a while to find some of the books written by Jacques Ferrand, but sadly all my searches failed. :'( Maybe somebody knows where one can get his books? Many thanks. :)

I think Arturo at ERHJ has most if not all of them.

I think I have seen some of Ferrand´s books on his site, but being in Europe shipping costs wolud certainly be very heavy. Aren´t there other sources?

If you are interested in any of his titles, we can supply them to you and arrange for shipping from the Europe to reduce your shipping costs.

Jacques, whom I saw last on Monday in Paris, is a dear friend of mine, as well as a very talented and delightful man!

If interested we may even be able to have Jacques mail the books directly to you.

^ That´s sounds interesting. I am especially interested in his book about GD Paul. BTW, which forms of payment do you accept?

I have 3 books, of Jacques Ferrand. The one of GD Paul is very, very nice. Extremly rare pictures of him and his family.

I have known Jacques for the better part of the last decade.  We just saw each other a few weeks ago in Paris, as we do every time I visit.  I do not think that out of Paris there are many booksellers carrying his titles.  EUROHISTORY.COM does, and has done so since 1997.

If you are interested in any of them do contact me as several of them have now gone out of print and Jacques, who is retired now, is not going to reprint any of them!

Another poster put up a lot of pictures from this book on another thread.  I can not find it any where, but would love to own it.

Not Noblesse Russe: Portraits d'exile" which is easier to find and costs about $157 USD.

This is a six volume set and the title is Noblesse Russe:  Portraits.  It has many pictures of women in court dress.

If anyone knows more, please post.    ;D  :D   ;)

I'm also looking for this book - I can't seem to find any on-sellers who have it.  Does anyone else know where to get it?

thanks
