#79: Perhaps not too o/t: In my undergraduate years, I had a elderly professor of the German language, who, as a child had been somewhat of a prodigy (attending university classes at a rather young age, etc.), and seemingly had a VERY well-connected circle of family and friends in his European years. He remembers being in a cathedral in Austria (Vienna) when he was quite young, and seeing the Emperor enter as a very old man, during some service or celebration. He was quite feeble, being assisted by two aides in his walking. It's remarkable how close in time, some of these semi-legendary historical figures are to us! (Always providing these stories are TRUE!) AP.
