Who can tell me about this book?: Mountbatten. Eighty years in pictures.?
ITs a picture book. But contains this book also many pictures of Victoria of Hesse?

There are probably 10 or so photographs of Victoria of Hesse, Teddy.  It is a very good book.

I'm a bit hurried now, but please let me know if you would like more information/photos posted etc.

Its sounds very nice. I can buy it for EUR 7,- So I think, that I will buy it.

That's good, the book is definitely a worthwhile buy - it has some great photos/illustrations, plus it is a very good read as well. Quite a few photos and childhood memories of the Romanovs also.

Interestingly, it was published in 1979, just before Mountbatten's tragic death so, of course, has no information on the IRA atrocity which is a good thing, in my opinion, because the manner of his death sadly seems to have eclipsed his life somewhat.
