Does Anastasia has a picture with her regiment uniform? I know I've seen a picture of Marie but I haven't found one of Anastasia's.
I've never seen one of Anastasia, either, and I don't believe one exists. I think WWI prevented Anastasia from having the chance to perform her regimental duties. Here's a photo of her regimental badge:

These are the only 3 photos I've seen of Maria in her uniform:

Alix's Hussars uniform:

I've got a bunch of photos of Alix in uniform, but strangely, NOT in her Alekandriysky Hussars uniform. Looks more like Lancers to me:

Thanks, Sarushka. For your answer and the pictures. It's a shame one probably doesn't exist of Anastasia.  :-\

To put it rather frankly, I didn't know those pictures existed.  Thanks!

Isn't Tatiana the Lancer one? Uhlan Lancers, did I get the name correctly? I may be wrong, though. :-\

Coronation of tsar, video 2 minutes:

Tsar inspect the soldiers, video 4 minutes:

Those are terrific! I've seen bits and pieces of the coronation video, but never the whole thing strung together. And the inspection one is great -- you can see how enormous GD Nikolai Nikolaevich was compared to the tsar. Also, I think I spotted "Fat Orlov" in the beginning. The views of the family during the last minute or so are great!
Thanks!

Yes, you're right -- that's why I was surprised to see how similar Alix's uniform is to Tatiana's in those pictures.  ;)

Here's a little question. I'm rereading Nicholas and Alexandra: A Lifelong Passion and have this to ask: What does Tatiana mean by a "chair?" She wrote...

1913
Tatiana to Alix-26 March-Tsarskoe Selo
My dearest darling Mama,
I just had a bath and before that a chair, so today I had two chairs. I hope you will sleep well my darling angel and that I will see you not in bed with a bad heart, but feeling well and in your sitting room.

Wow! Thank you. I wish I could save these onto my computer, especially the last one. It was great to see Alexandra interacting with Alexei and Olga, Anastasia, and I think it was Maria in the back.

I think that I can see Count Frederiks in the last video, and also "Nicolasha".

After a long absence from AP, it struck my fancy the other day to search on deviantArt (my second home) for any type of Romanov-related works.  Granted, I found quite a lot that are hardly realistic, such as this comical inking of Rasputin - http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33919169/ - and plenty that just happened to have the name in there, perhaps the artist's.  However, I did find one standout piece, actually a redraw from a video game (Shadow Hearts Covenant) that features the Princess Anastasia - granted, much younger than she actually would have been in 1914-1915 - but I believe her clothing is actually fairly accurate when rendered by the hand of ~alucard-fan...

I found this little tribute for Olga Nicholaievna's 111th birthday. Cute!  :)
