Thank you ! I know there's a mass of video like that on the web but I never tried "Windows Live Movie Maker" which is an excellent and very simple tool to make little video like this. I wanted to avoid little red hearts that we can see too often in this kind of video, because I don't like it at all lol. Also it was an occasion to use good british music instead of a simple maudlin melody...

I have a question...how can you tell the difference between some of these residences?

Is there any way to identify Peterhof besides the dark bricks? Will the oval shaped curtains work? Such as this?

I also have trouble telling the Alexander Palace and Livadia parks apart. Did they both have spruce trees?

Was Peterhof the only palace where they allowed vines to grow up on the balconies?

Yeah, any little differences good for IDing, point them out please! Thanks!

I came across this site by accident while googleing around http://www.tsaarinikolai.com/

It's a memory association of the "Holy imperial martyrs Nicholas II and his family and the empress' lady in waiting Anna Taneeva in Finland"
The site is mainly in Russian though there are some parts in Finnish too. I don't know much Russian so I can't understand almost anything but it seems that there is quite a lot videos and articles about the IF in Russian and also some information about the associations activity in Finland. Apparently they share the information and keep their memory alive and also organize pilgrimages to places where the IF spent their holidays and where Anna Vyrubova lived and was buried.

Funny that I didn't know anything about this association though I'm from Finland. Maybe they should be a bit more active on "keeping the flame"...
