TunaEars, that site you spoke of a couple of pages back is very old. I remember other members here talking about how silly it is.
And the animated movie Anastasia is beautiful. It's going on the legend on if Anastasia had survived, and yes a lot of things were changed for it. It introduced me to the Romanovs when I was younger and it is still one of my favorite movies. Besides, they don't say anything bad about the family at all. They show them all very close and loving like they were in real life. There was the one scene where Anastasia looks at a picture she made as a child and said something like "Olga said it looked like a pig riding a donkey, made me so mad!" (which any sibling could say!) giggles, and then says she misses them all. So there is my rant.
Aaanyway, I came here because I didn't know where else to post this, and I didn't know if it had been posted before. I was shown this site where someone blends modern pictures of Russia together with pictures taken in the same place during WWII. I thought some of you might like to see them.
