Alfonsito's tragic death is very sad story. Officially he should have shot himself while cleaning a revolver. There are rumours that this revolver was a present by General Franco.
Right after his accidental death another version found it's way into the press. According to a witness it should have been his brother Juan-Carlos who was playing with the revolver and shot his younger brother through an oversight.
