Jewellery of Grand Duchesses...

What jewellery did the grand duchesses have and other items?

Are there any photos of it then and now?

well i know that they had many icons on chains.. rasputin one of them!

Pearls
Diamonds
and maybe some rubies!

They all had pearl necklaces that they were given pearls to add to as they got older, for birthdays. (I think, not sure) and they all got diamond and pearl necklaces for their 16th birthday, apart from Anastasia.

You can see some of their jewelry in the 1913 and 1914 formals.

Jewels of the Tsars has one excellent photo of the Big Pair in 1913 that's large enough to see their jewelry quite clearly.

yeah thats right
they got a pearl i believe
until their 16th birthday.
