Many thanks for this very interesting picture. Luigi is on the right.  He's the eldest son and, however, his brother Filippo looks older than him. Was Luigi a little rachitic? Their sister Isabella(dead at 13 years old) looks rather pretty.
Don Filippo wears the Grand Cross of Justice of the Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Grand Cross of the Brazalian Order of Southern Cross.

I made a mistake! Luigi is on the left. He's smaller than his brother..This why I said he looks rachitic...

hello remi !

well I think that Filippo inherited his father's genes. I remember a picture of the Count of Aquila who was quite tall...so maybe
whereas Luigi Jr must have inherited his mother's side. Januaria looks so small...

poor little Isabella, what did she die of? Interesting that the family did not make a home in Brazil with Pedro II.. i would have thought that there would have been more opportunities for them there.

I'm not sure if this is the right church!

But it's beautiful!

Very interesting! So did anyone post what She died of? I am afraid my Computer is acting up and won't let me go into all three pages.

Maria Klementina, duchess of Calabria, heiress-princess of Two Sicilies was comsumptive. She died at the age of 25 years, in 1801.
