BTW : great thing Gd Sergei did in also recognice Vova when, obviously, he s Gd Andrei`s son. Its just thing to see pictures of him as an adult, a carbon copy of his real daddy!

Grand Duke Sergei was very attached to Vova and took care of him as child. Even appearing on the original birth certificate as the father! Despite the fact that it was very possible GD Andrei was the father, it seemed to have mattered very little to GD Sergei. Of course tensions were always high between the Grand Duke's as far as Mathilde was concerned.

Thats very noble from his side. Perhaos because all the love he felt for thst boy he never saw the evident that he wasnt his biological kid
