L'ours,restaurant in Tsarskoye Selo

One could perhaps talk about L'ours or The bear ,the well known restaurant in Tsarskoye Selo during Tsarisrt time,it used to be frequented by prince Youssoupov and many others...

L'ours was established October 1, 1878 by Ernest G Hegel, entrepreneur from Belgium. It was located G. Konushennaya St 27 inside of the Hotel Demouth (St Petersburg).

it was two dining rooms with 100-150 tables, and 29 private rooms. Staff included 200 employees, and 24 musicians' orchestra.

But unfortunately it was in St. Petersburg

I'm sorry to have mistaken...however this views are wonderful it is the very first time I see it...Do you know what happen to the building?

Façade of the building for my understanding should not have any changes, but interiors was totally remodeled, now first floor occupied by Theater - Russian Modern named after Arcady Raikin, and the rest of the building by various offices and organizations.

I've heard about the café the Hermitage which do exist (I'm sure) at least until 1917...

I believe this one was situated in Tsarskoye Selo,do you have pics?

In fatc I had mistaken,I believed that the Ours was in Tsarkoye Selo and for a change as you suggest perhaps should we ask to website manager to remove it...

I don't think we should remove anything, everyone do mistakes, but we learn on our mistakes,  L'ours was one of the most interesting places in St. Petersburg, and truly I had no idea about its existence.
So, thank you so much!
Btw, I would be happy to do some more research about some other places in St. Petersburg and Tsarskoye Selo.

I did extensive research, and I have to say - Hermitage it was not café, but I have reason to believe it was pavilion in Catherine park.
Actually it was interesting structure of the pavilion, because it was no stairs to the second floor of the building, only predecessors of elevators a little canapé lifting visitors to the dining room/ballroom, where was 5 dining tables, after the meal, tables was despairing in the floor opening area for dancing.
Last time structure was used by Nicholas I, during his marriage with Alexandra Feodorovna 1817.
