I found a old October 1976 issue of Combat Illustrated magazine article on the parade uniforms of Imperial Russian line cavalry 1914:
3rd Olga Ns: Bag White Dolman blue for officers dark blue for men Piping gold for officers orange for men. Pelisse: White, Breeches: blue-grey or crimson. Barrel sash: silver for officers; white sash orange barrel for men. Lance pennant: white over yellow or blue
5th Alexandra's: Bag: red; badge; deaths head; metal: white, dolman: black, Piping : silver for officers, white for men,, No Pelisse, Breeches: blue-grey or black, The black pair had a broad white stripe down the outer seam. On the officers breeches this stripe had a silver zig-zag. barrel sash: silver for officers: red sash, white barrel for men. lance pennant: red over white over black.
12 Olga As: Bag yellow, Metal: yellow Dolman: dark Brown for officers, very dark brown for men. piping: gold for officers, orange for men No Pelisse. breeches; blue-grey or crimson, barrel sash: silver for officers; yellow sash, orange barrel for men.
