This is a cute photo. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/35/unbenannt61cq.jpg/

Too adorable!

This is the first picture I ever saw of the Romanov family

I'm trying to find a pic where it's hanging on the wall at Tsarkoe Selo (I think) behind the LP and their wounded.

I've seen that photo many times, but have never really noticed that 1913 photo in it!

I just adore that one! Thanks! In other prints, AN's dress had stripes . I have wondered who is the lady in the doorway behind them? This might have been taken before the performance, just after they were costumed.  According to Gillard because of Anastasia's gift for mimicry, her French accent was excellent . They are both adorable here.

Wow! Nice eye, blessOTMA. I've seen that photo many times and never caught the partial female figure at the back. From the dark hair and slim figure ,as well as the fine white dress, it could well be Tatiana. Doesn't seem like the other likely candidate there, Shura Tegleva, who was close with Gilliard and might have been on the 'set' of the play.

I've always noticed that lady in the doorway too and have always wondered who it was myself? Could may well be Shura or Tatiana.

I think it might be maid or lady in waiting..or possibly Alix herself... She was reported to be running here and there in between stays at Alexi's bedside during this time. But the figure seems too simply dressed for AF. Hard to tell who it is . I also wonder if this was the place  where the play was performed or where they were dressed? It certainly could serve as a stage. In other copies  of the photo, one sees the room  had a slanted ceiling, which would indicate upper floors

The floor-length skirt indicates a grown woman, so it's unlikely to be Tatiana in 1912. The photos of her on White Flower Day in 1912 show a skirt that's still just a couple inches above the ankle.

In my opinion, it is a lady in waiting, if it cannot possibly be Tatiana.

That's from the White Flower Festival, I'm guessing? Or not?

Some "bazaar" for sure . I have seen other photos of this ( which of course I can't find) and AF seems to be reviewing booths etc.
in those as well

Little Pair at their hospital...nice size of a known photo. The gentleman in the plain suit was the director
