I thought that was one of the best video tributes to the Romanovs that I have seen.....and this even tho' I am not a huge fan of the movie.

It was so poignant and the flashbacks as they waited so lovely.....you really felt it in your heart.    
The music was perfect also and added so much to the overall feeling of fear and melancholy!  Your would have to have an awfully hard heart not
to be moved by this.

 I liked the pictures and video's you put, on the intermet Maria, they were very nice and pretty. The pictures were nice. Some of them were rare. It is a great contribute to the execution of the Romanovs. It had some films of the Romanovs. I liked the one were the children are playing a game with Alexei running and walking around in circles. I think it was in 1908. They look so adorable in that film footage. I also like the film of them dressed up in fur coats in 1916 or 1917.

Has anyone looked at the youtube video's called Russia 7, or something like that?  It shows actual footage of the Romanov's; in particular, video of Alexie at the back of the palace mounting a horse.  I think that one is very interesting because we can compare it  (footage of the back of the palace semi=circle balcony) to its present state.

Sorry, just checked, the video is called russia5,  but the person putting them on youtube has other videos with actual film footage of the Imperial Family.  I think any of you that have actually been to the AP would be especially excited to look at Alexi on film walking in front of the semi circle balcony!  Does anyone know of any other film footage sources, etc I could check out?
