I really think that Romy was prettier then Sissi.

Well...Ava Gardner had the glamour although wrong body type. I think Winnola Ryder could play her.

There are still rumors that Catherine-Zeta Jones and Tom Hanks are to play Sisi in Franz in,what is to be the first, a Holywood-production on her life(ofcourse there have been Hollywood-movies on her before, but this could be a chance that they cut out on the 'early romance' and move to Sisi's tragedy)

Do you know something about this movie with Katherine Zeta Jones??

going to be made... any idea??

Tom Hanks as FJ !!!! I think not ! He already ruined the Dan Brown series. It would be like Foresst Gump playing Prince charming. Actually I think Catherine is better as Maria Sofia, she had more spunk.

im watching a movie now with Sandra bullock and when i look at her...i see some of the same features as in sisis fase...and she is a great actress 2...can be verry funny and very dramatic and serious...
i think she would be a good Elisabeth...
or Rachel Weisz..

It would be entertaining.  They're a very interesting and rather odd lot!

What always was fascinating to me is the fact that Rudolf was really like his mother, he had all her ways of thinking and had himself a deal of 'odd habbits', like his mother, and both they were fascinated by the idea of death.

A miniseries would be great, following the reign of Franz from the Revolt in 1848 up to his death, or the death of Elisabeth. Also a dramatic series, like the Tudors, would be great to see - if it would have some historical accuracy - or even a documentary series on the Habsburg reign(like Russia: Land of the Tsars)

Yes. The problem is that can it make money...movies are expensive to shoot.
