Thank you very much.  ;) I should start to learn Spanish, because the text seems to be very interesting and I adore the photos shown there.

She was madly in love with her cousin King Alfonso XIII, but he never ever felt attracted by her!! She had some kind of depression for that reason. Maybe that's why she never married... By modern standards, I think Pilar would have been much more attractive to us than Victoria Eugenia!

Did you know that Pilar wrote a book about Alfonso XIII.?

Infanta Paz was the lucky Spanish Princess (of her sisters)  to have a good marriage.

She was a lovely woman, so she deserved all the happiness she found after her marriage. I feel a deep tenderness when I think of Paz.

Pilar, poor little thing...she was dead too young. I believe Pilar was a lovely girl.
Isabel had not a happy marriage, but Isabel was firstly an infanta of Spain (a great sense of duty) and secondly a woman. Eulalia...well, I like Eulalia, but I don´t like the way she managed her private life.

She looks just like her double first-cousin & sister-in-law Isabel II.

José, that PDF document you posted is excellent, it really gives a great history of the Spanish Branch of the Wittlesbachs.  I only wish I could totally understand it :-[
