Honestly, I think the only way you can get hurt on a site like myspace is if you were dumb enough to meet someone you didn't know, that you met through there. It all depends on how you use the site. If you want to talk to people you don't know, you add them. If you don't, you just add friends. Sorry to rant -I just heard of another report of someone blaming myspace for their kid running away. I've only ever met one person from myspace in person. He went to school with my friend, went to the movies with another friend, and we met in Wal-Mart. If your kid met up with someone in a motel that they didn't know, you probably should have parented him or her better. Ok -rant over.
Imperial Angel, if you ever decide to join myspace I'd be glad to help you out. Trust me, it's ridiculously easy. Otherwise, half the boneheads that are on now wouldn't be on it.
