The Princess wasn't abandoned by her husband,it's the other way 'round.Ever since,he,Edwin de Roy van Zuydewyn,is making quite a spectacle of himself.The Princess filed for divorce and the court will rule on it next week november 8th,after that they have two months to settle arrangements,the who gets what and why not business.But their lawyers will handle that for them,that is,if EdRvZ finds himself a lawyer,several had him as their client,and all of 'm dropped out,either as he didn't pay any bills,or his behaviour was too weird for them to handle.The court will rule in favor of a divorce,as their "marriage" is in a totally and utterly impossible mess,due to him.We here always wonder what's next in this freakshow.
EdRvZ has been harrassing the Princess,founded a political party aiming at lashing out to the RF and "secrecy",he was sued for the first and failed in the latter and withdrew from elections,he was bothered with the red tape and time it all involved.....,he's the laughing stock here in NL.
He's a downright mental case.Has been from day one of the marriage,he publicly scolded the Princess minutes after leaving church,a shocking,hou je bek (shut the **** up)was the answer to a question by her,and that was taped.Her father wasn't present at the wedding,he opposed,but officially it was due to weather circumstances his plane couldn't take off from Logan airport,Boston,where he spends a lot of time.Next the couple bought a chateau in the south of France,and voila,he called himself Baron,fake ofcourse.Anyhow,the Princess was totally under the spell of this weirdo,says something about her own mental state at the time as well ofcourse,and about love turning into the wrong direction.Actually everything went into the wrong direction,Edwin ruined the Princess financially,debts were building up,he was to lazy to move his butt,thought he could live on a fake title alone,and finally,when matters took a turn for the worse,he(and she..)started allegations against the RF,completely and utterly false,schizofrenic avant le lettre.Her aunt and godmother,HM,read a statement during a press conference while on a state visit to Chile a few years ago in which she said she regretted this situation in which her godchild was in and that nor she nor the rest of the RF recognised themselves in the allegations.She was profoundly saddened by Pss.Margarita's situation,but couldn't elaborate on the issue as it concerned a daughter of her sister,Princess Irene.
The Princess meanwhile is keeping a low profile,living quitely here in Amsterdam,getting her act together again.And the chateau is still up for sale,has been for about a year now.The Princess has "returned"within the RF circle,her first appearance after the whole hullabaloo being the funeral of her grandmother,Princess Juliana in 2004.Gradually relations improved and she's part of family festivities again,but that didn't come overnight either.
