Aww! That makes it even more sad!
Quote
"All I Ask of You" makes me cry if, and only if, it's a recording of Sarah Brightman and Steve Barton. Steve had the most beautiful voice of any male singers, and his death was a huge loss.
Steve died? That's terrible! I adore his voice. I love Sarah's voice, it's absolutely gorgeous.AIAOY makes me cry too. I saw the movie and I cried- I am not a big fan of Emmy Rossum, but it made me cry nevertheless.
Sarah McLachlan's "Angels" is all too sad.

A lot of songs make me cry, especially religious songs. It really depends on what I think about when I hear a song, if I cry or not. "Jubilee" sung by Alison Krauss really makes me cry. It was on a documentary about the Holocaust but it makes me think about NAOTMAA too. :'(

"Jubilee"
The sun came up on Monday morn, the world was all in flame.
It's all a mortal man can do, to make it right again.
Swing and turn, jubilee.
Live and learn, jubilee.
The moon came up, I stood my ground, and swore to not give in.
To never rest, and do my best.
To rid this world of sin.
Swing and turn, jubilee.
Live and learn, Jubilee.
The one who spoke cried tears of hope, that we might change in time.
And when I looked into her eyes, the fear I saw was mine.
Swing and turn, jubilee.
Live and learn, jubile.
The time had come to travel on, I made my way alone.
My soul will mend at journeys end.
This road will take me home.
Swing and turn, jubilee.
Live and learn, jubilee.

Since it's the holiday season and a radio station in my city has been playing Christmas songs since the last day of November, there is one song that I have heard a lot lately. It's called "Christmas Shoes" and no matter how many times I hear it, I pretty much sob.

I adore Josh Groban (as you can see by the lyrics in my signature). He's a heavenly voice! A ton of his songs make me cry, but this one makes me flat-out sob:

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
Your face I've memorized
I idolize just you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
I've loved you for so long
And after all is said and done
You're still you
After all
You're still you

You walk past me
I can feel your pain
Time changes everything
One truth always stays the same
You're still you
After all
You're still you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
And I believe in you
Although you never asked me to
I will remember you
And what life put you through

And in this cruel and lonely world
I found one love
You're still you
After all
You're still you

I listened to it every night when I was in Germany. He has such a beautiful voice, I'd love to go to one of his concerts one day. (Maybe he will oen day perform this song at my wedding? ;)  :D)
