This probably belongs in the Romanov Youtube links thread or the Just To Put This Out There Romanov-Style thread, seeing as this can't really accumulate a real discussion..but here's the lyrics in cryllic, transliteration, and translated to English. Personally, I like this version of the lyrics more. I'm still learning Russian so sorry if there are any mistakes:

Which version are we talking about? The one that Anya sings in the movie, or the one sung by Deana Carter during the credits (some of the lyrics are changed in that one)?

The one that is sung in the movie is the one we're talking about. But, as I remember, both of the lyrics are the same...

I'm not sure, but in both cases, the lyrics would be different in Russian. They were made to rhyme in English, but they have to rhyme in Russian, too.

Well the lyrics are certainly different.
I like the Russian version better, it adds to the whole 'Romanovs being from Russia' theme, (if that makes any sence.)

yes its true

when songs are translated to english from other languages
the words are usualy changed to fit the tune of the song

i can see noticable in songs, that one of our sisters sings in spanish, then in english
they are totally different but the tune!

In English, it's something like that:

Not very good translation, but that's almost it. Similar to the English version, I think...
