Did Tsar Nicholas and the Tsarina have bachelor and bacheloret partys before their weddings? did they even have them back then?

In my uneducated opinion, it wouldn't be a bachelor or bachelorette party in the modern sense of the word - perhaps a banquet, a hunting trip with ladies tagging along with their fathers (in Nicholas's case) or perhaps a hosted opera or symphony concert.

Imagine (yes this is a horrible example) one of those "grand balls" on an old Disney movie where the parents are trying to marry off their children, and in turn lots of lesser aristocrats get to try for an heir on the throne.  I mean, not on that kind of scale by any means, but does that give you any idea?

Nicholas commanded a battalion of the Prebrazansky regiment and would have been giving a very druken party by the officers of his regiment prior to him marriage by his regiment.  He was very attached to his regiment.

I don't think there would be any strippers coming out of cakes :)

maybe no cakes at all for them to come out of and maybe no women in the regimental headquarters mess but probably a visit to a house of pleasure.

Well not if you were an officer in an elite regiment at that time.
