Just finished reading my copy this evening and frankly I was not particularily impressed with this memoir. In all honesty I feel that several of the scenes she described are somewhat fanciful, while others failed to provide an appropriate conclusion. Overall, her book IMO reads more like an adventure story rather than a harrowing life story.

Perhaps it was intended to be and was written as an adventure story.
