Yes, I also think that this fan wasn't used on the same time, this is made with veil... wouldn't be so useful for going to a travel (the thing she did the last years of her life) or even for cover her face

From a Hungarian site, according to it this dreamlike hungarian dress belonged to the Empress Sissi. Beautiful... isn't it?

Zukunftsseele you left me without words  :o Many of the things you posted are new for me, Wow!! All is fascinating, what taste of fashion!!  :-*
By the way, have you seen the shoes? They look to be big and they are. I've investigated about the size (40 in european as Madame Sisi said before) and is according to a site 9 in american size and for in mexican size  (I'm mexican) a 6 1/2.
And now Empress Sissi's wedding gown (really lovely too)  ::)

You are welcome :-) It's just a bit of what I have collected over the years. I have it on different computers, books, etc. and this was what I had on my laptop lol I should try to find the other things. Yes, I was a bit 'shocked' about her shoe size, too. I would even say it's 41. They look really big. The wedding dress is amazing!!! Thanks for posting the link. :-))

Thank you sooo much for sharing your wonderful discoveries with us!!  :D Indeed! She seemed to have big footh and is possible as you said that they could be even bigger than 40. Glad you liked the wedding dress  :) The fan is wonderful!!
Now a replica of the dress that she used on her famous first photo. I think that this must be in some hungarian museum.


Forgot to say... sorry for the quality of the photo, it's quite blurry  :'(
