Does anyone know if there are any photos of Alexei in a wheelchair? Specifically if one was ever used on the Standart? Thanks!

I'm thinking a wheelchair aboard a ship might not have been a real good idea.  They'd have had to make certain it was VERY well secured any time it was stopped.  A wheelchair also would have been difficult to move around the ship, as doors and passageways would be smaller than on land.  I also doubt that the ship had an elevator, so moving from one deck to another would have been another difficulty.

Alexandra had one in Finland, but I've always heard of her using it on land, never on the Standart. Probably for the reasons you listed.
