To be honest, at their site, the Greek Royal Family say that some of the items were them, but they are just leting everyone to undertand that they sold them since 1991, when they were carried away from Tatoi Palace, with the permision of the Greek government. Since then, the object were at big containers at an english harbour. Propably the cost of keeping them was big, and the Royal Family was forced to sale some items. But not to Christie's. So,my opinion, to be fair enougth, is that the items that are going to be sold from Christies, were sold previously by thw Greek Royal Family. But now, the owner is someone else...I don't see nothing wrong with that, considering that all the Greek Governments want to ignore in purpose the ROyal History of Greece. So it's hipocritic the interest and the accusations that ''the ex is selling our history''!
