Somthing happen on the Beach?

i was wondering if somting happened on the beach
beacuse it looks like his knee is bulging out far than it actually is

His knee does appear swollen, but I doubt whatever caused the apparent swelling happened that day on the beach. If Aleksei had hurt himself badly enough to make his knee immediately swell up, it's probably safe to assume the IF wouldn't have stayed on the beach long enough to snap photos. An injury like that would have been painful and dangerous, and likely would have required immediate medical attention.

I think it's much more likely that Aleksei was *recovering* from an attack of hemophilia when this picture was taken.

I'm not sure. It'd be easier to tell if we could see the shore -- the beach at the Crimea has a rocky shore, Peterhof is sandy, and the waterline in Finland was often scattered with boulders. Judging by how close the opposite shore is in this photo, it could actually be a river. There are a number of photos of the IF relaxing along the Dnieper River during the war....

I think it's entirely possible, but I don't know how to tell for sure. There's just no landmarks or anything useful to confirm the locaion.  :P
