The correct spelling is WITTELSBACH roimat.I know it's not spelled properly at the top, sounds more like a delicatessen on 57th and 5th... ::)

Prince Leopold of Bavaria (born 1943), called Prinz Poldi, is very popular with the Bavarian people. He is the elder son of Prince Konstantin (1920-1969) and his first wife Adelgunde Princess of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (born 1921). Some years ago he took part in car races. He is married to Ursula "Uschi" Möhlenkamp (born 1947). The couple has four children. Their eldest son Manuel (born 1972) married Anna Princess zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (born 1978) in August 2005. His godfather is the King of Sweden.

You are right, Lucien. Although I am the moderator of this forum, I can't change it. But I will ask someone else for help.

Among Duke Max Emanuel's five daughters, Maria Anna is my favourite one. At Tegernsee I was informed that Maria Anna is the official owner of Schloss Tegernsee.

Does anybody know more about Dr. Runow? (I hope, Maria Anna will keep her name ...  ::)) Where is he from? How old is he? What's his profession?

And when and where does the wedding take place? I'm quite sure that she will marry at Tegernsee just like her sisters.

Here is some new information:

Maria Anna's wedding is going to take place at Tegernsee this summer. Just like her sisters Sophie, Marie Caroline and Elizabeth, Anna decided to marry at the church St. Quirinus, Tegernsee. (By the way: Empress Elisabeth of Austria's parents married in this church, too.)

Dr. Claus Runow is 39 years old and he works at the Citibank in London. After Dr. Terberger, Duchess Elizabeth's husband, he is the second common man who is to marry a Bavarian Princess.  ;)

I'm really curious about Anna's wedding dress. I'm sure that she will look absolutely beautiful.

Hey Marc,

I think britt.25 refered to Prinz Poldi as a descendant of Luisa of Tuscany and the last King of Saxony. As far as I know, Mr. Runow isn't royal at all.  ;)

Yes ;) I surely meant Poldi and not Runow, I don´t know about any royal roots of him...
