In the movie Nicholas and Alexandra, I was kind of disappointed how few times OTMA actually had a part, especially the part about who I suppose was supposed to be Tatiana! Ugh! She would never do such a random and inappropriate thing!

Also, when Nicholas "blames" Alix that it was her fault Alexsy had haemophillia! He would never do that to his dear Alix, he loved her very much.

Sorry if I'm being too opinionated! That's just what I think.

I totally agree with you! Another thing I did not like about Nicholas and Alexandra that they showed another inaccurate depiction of Alexei in captivity. Really Alexei just tried to have fun in captivity and when they tore down the snow hill Alexei (I think) was just trying to have fun going down the stairs, not to commit suicide like what the film portrays.

That's true, too. I think he may have known what was happening while they were in captivity, but he wouldn't do something so random and sudden like that, from the little info that we do know about him.

I think that out of the few movies I've actually seen they could have been much worse historically wise. I think some of them (in my opinion at least) did a really good portrayale. Also that because they are movies and not really made to keep everything the way it really happened that things will be changed for the entertainment value.
