I think lilianna is right. If you look at the side with balcony view photographs, the palisander rooms two windows conform to the majority of with small panels while the lilac room has two single panes. During the 20s-30s, the venetian style may have been taken out and replaced with the simple panes. The series of outdoor photographs at Yale have a number taken in the same area of the balcony side after the GDs had been playing in the snow.

Спасибо,Joanna. Я хочу добавить, что рамы на окнах были двойные. Весной снимали тяжелые зимние рамы, а осенью надевали на окна обратно. Может быть, поэтому на снимках,сделанных летом мы и не видим цветного окна под тяжелой зимней рамой или наоборот.

Thanks, Joanna. I wish to add, that frames at windows were double. Removed heavy winter frames in the spring, and put on windows back in the autumn. Perhaps, therefore in the pictures made in the summer we also we do not see a color window under a heavy winter frame or on the contrary.

Actually, I'm beginning to wonder if it's the AP at all. The horizontal detailing between the ground floor windows and the basement windows doesn't appear to match the brickwork on the same area of the AP:

I always assumed the picture of Alexi on the path would have been near the semi circle balcony, like if we could pan the camera to the right, we would see the bottom of the ramp.
