I believe too it's from documentry i have seen it... but if it's cropped from which picture?

I don't know either. My understanding is that there are tens of thousands of photographs in GARF that have never been published. The more Russian documentaries I watch, the more new photos I see. Unfortunately most of them are cropped to fit the proportions of a TV screen.

I have a friend which is working in Moscow's archives... if there was a chance to look the pictures there... i see that we can't wait somebody to go and scan...nobody cares...

Romanov fan would go scan publish.... but most Romanov's fans are not from Russia,because there was forbidden to speak about them for to long... But if this depending on me i would go and scan... if i can...

That's great! Everytime I come (it has became so rare!) I always find such a wundeful bunch of totaly new pictures! The one of Olga on her horse, the one of ON smoking in Moghilev (it looks like she smoked quite a lot), are especially great! A pity that I could not read what is written on this last picture.

Irina, I think that image is so small in that book, I think it is well scanned.  . I wish bigger versions of that ones from that book. I think they are rare.
