How interesting, I thought I saved all the lazaret's picture of the Beinecke Album, and rever remark the one I spoke about! By the way, I think that all these pictures are from the last 4 months of 1914. They are in Vyrubova's album, probably she took them herself. After her injury the 2 of january, she was not healthy enough to take pictures.

I think everyone believes they have seen all the pictures in the Beinecke Album, but from time to time still stumble upon ones they have never noticed before.

That happens to me all the time. Drives me nuts! I know darn well I've been through the entire collection at least 8 times.

Oh same here, if not more than 8. It really is amazing how many "new" pictures I still come across.

Can anyone explain to me just what exactly is going on this picture?  :P (sorry if it's already been posted before  :-[ )

Not sure what there is to explain -- Tatiana and an officer sitting on the beach. Perhaps in Finland?

I realize I just did a tonne of quoting, but it all relates...
I emailed Yale a few months ago about their album, and they said that they are adding new pictures every few months in an un-ordered fashion. (Seems so un-yale like!)
But I agree with everyone. Go in and save all the images, only to have a random new image in a random album appear later. The kind woman who emailed me said nothing more on which albums were not complete, etc, even though I asked. I've emailed her back, but have not received a response.

It's just the way they're sitting looks odd to me. I guess the timing was just awkward with the photographer.

Sorry for bad quality; I scan a photocopy. By the way, there is another picture of that day (with same dresses, I like them very much!), with Olga and Maria I think. I can not find it. Can anyone post it or send it me? Thank you!

Yes it is! Thanks. Do you know other pictures of this day? I never saw these dresses in other pictures and I wonder what was that for an occasion. The Empress looks very good in both this pictures.

Other photos from that day appear in Beinicke, and Private World of the Last Tsar:

Could it have been a birthday or name-day celebration? I notice Alexandra is wearing a corsage at her waist, as Olga did on her 16th birthday.

Thank you! It's appear I had all this picture... but did not notice they were done the same day that Tatiana's with her mother. I will search source, perhaps will found some indication of datation! Perhaps Tatiana's birthday, she seems to be in the center...

The last one(Tatiana in bushes)....I adore it. Where did clock find it? Where it was taken, and who is in picture, too? I am sure there's somewhere better quality.
