Considering the skirt length it seems more like it's Anastasia than Tatiana to me but of course, no clear scan, so who knows...

Guess who has a clear scan! :D  I do!  I don't remember where I got it, but to me it looks so much more like Anastasia than Tatiana.

Alexei seems like he's shouldering a toy rifle in that picture. I think it's the same one that was taken away and then given back to him.

it could be the same rifle where he played, when he was "going to shoot Tatiana"

Same here. Alix wears a sorta chain bracelet all the time, and I can see it in the pic. Tatiana  looks grumpy, as if thinking about "will you take the picture already, I wanna go skate!!" :)

I don't think it's Alix, because of the hairstyle.  This would have been taken around, what, 1910ish, and Alix had picked up the weird heart-shaped hairstyle by then that she wore a lot in 1912.
