Alexei and Tatiana 1917
Does anyone know what the structure is behind Alexi and Tatianna?  Am I correct that they are sitting beside the bridge in the park?

Yes, there are other photos of Aleksei, Tatiana, and Ortino from that same day in front of the bridge. This one was likely taken in the same area. I'm not sure what the structure in the background is -- maybe a pavillion?

For some reason, I was thinking of the playhouse they had on the children's island.

Aloha all!

"I find the second last photo that IrinaAlexandrovna posted very interesting. Strangely reminds me of Olivia Hussey in ' Romeo & Juliet'.."

I've always wondered about this picture as well as the one of GD Maria in similar costume and similar quality pic - anyone have any info about these - are there others anyone has seen other
than Tatiana and Maria?  Definitely looks to be some play they were costumed for - I'll try to find the one of GD Maria and post it here.

Anyone know?

I think that it was for a play, but I'm not sure if it was ever determined which play they were dressed for. Here's the one of Maria:

I found these pics. very interesting. How they were never printed in any book? Or I am not right? Were they taken at Livadia in 1914?

I'm not sure when or where they were taken. I've only seen them in the Russian documentary, Nikolai i Aleksandra.

I'm not sure -- the documentary only shows these two of T & M.
