Baby girl born 1958
« on: June 19, 2007, 02:43:40 PM »
Was there a baby girl Wittlesbachs born in June 19, 1958 in Amneville France? If not on the 19 it was some day between the 17 and the 21. Or was there a baby girl born between that time frame who died shortly thereafter?

No, there wasn't any Wittelsbach birth in 1958. I also couldn't find a Bavarian Princess who was born in Amneville, France.
Ich aber breite trauernd aus
die weiten weissen Schwingen,
Und kehr' ins Feenreich nach Haus -
Nichts soll mich wieder bringen.

You don´t understand, Duke. The baby was a Wittelsbach-Habsburg, but Habsburg of the french line, with Sissi and Napoleon as common ancestors. Or something like this...

Napoleon as common ancestors

But Napoleon's only son the "Roi du Rome" died without any issue so how could this person have Napoleon as an ancestor.  Maybe he/she was descended from Josephine?

I am sorry, I don't understand how somebody could be "Hapsburg of the french line"

Thanks for your help Yseult for explaining this :) but I still don't understand any of this.

I know  :D The only very strange and really mad theory to explain it: Reichstadt had an illegitimate son with Sophie, may be Franz Joseph or Ferdinand Maximilian. Later, Sissi had a baby with Franz Joseph or with -my God!- Ferdinand Maximilian. The baby was born in secret, raised in secret, always hidden from the public´s eye. Later, an descendant of the baby had another baby born in 1958. Of course, a Wittelsbach-Habsburg descending from Napoleon ;)
Crazy, very crazy world...

I think the lady, who tries to explain that story, does simply not have enough knowledge on Royal families. I try to find out further details on the thing, but until now it is very mysterious.

If this all is so secret how would anybody from the forum know?  People here know a lot about royalty and history but not political intrigues and high government secrets.

And, of course, we know the real King of England is that illegitimate child Prince Edward had in Australia.  Or Franz of Bavaria.  Or Michael Abney-Hastings.

In fact, during my last appointment at the psych hospital I met someone who swore he was Napoleon.  I mean, who am I to doubt him?  Stranger things have happened after all!

(Sorry, but you can understand my level of scepticism, can't you?)

This Baby girl born in 1968, Possibly a great (or great-great) grand daughter of Sissi's father (he fathered many illegitimate children, so possibly start there) or another Dukes or Archdukes of the Wittelsbach-Habsburg lines, but doubt of Sissi' descendants.

I can't really help you because; I am not an expert of the Wittelsbach-Habsburgs. Lol

I wonder, if really so much would have happened, if that case was real, the murder tries etc seem strange, because the direct political influence of the Habsburgs and Wittelsbachs today is rather limited, and if they have influence it's not because they have royal blood. So why the attempts? Strange is that the lady evidently did not say clearly to which royal house her (alleged) real father belongs to. To have blood of the Habsburgs or Wittelsbachs is very common among the different royal houses- reigning and non- reigning houses, but that does not say anything about her real name. Even people like Princess Diana have somewhere Habsburg blood...
