They are interested much in the Romanov and sometimes they recommend books, programs of TV and pages to me of Internet :)

Oh,my family thought of me as being an aristocratic snob.Which is terrible because it really has nothing to do with any sort of snobbery.I adore Monarchy that's all. And the Imperial Russian Monarchy is one of my most favorites.My mum use to get me things about the Iranian Monarchy which I certainly fell in love with.I use to compare the grandeur and splendour of both Courts.I use to analyze which Court could have outdone each other in pomp,pageantry,and circumstance.But my grandmother who is an Anglophile,told me that for each Court,a uniqueness,so thus I appreciate both.

the only person who i can share my love of history with and knowledge of the royal families is my eight year old niece emma...perhaps its because i have been reading history books to her since she was an infant....

my mom and siblings have no idea what i'm talking about when i bring them up (which i always somehow find a way of weaving history into every subject...according to my guy friend) and some of my friends are interested while the others just are confused...especially when i go into detail...yet if they need a history subject for a term paper ..they sure know where to find me... ;D
