Thank you for posting this wonderful link. You have several unique photographs. I'm assuming the book is in Russian? Also how can this book be ordered and do you ship to the United States?

I think I have seen a picture of "The History of the Yusupovs Dynasty". Is that the book with the Moika palace and generations of Yusupov on the cover?

Do you recommend the "The History of the Yusupovs Dynasty "?

It is, I got it from ebay!  It is a nice little book to have, I like it!  I am pretty excited, at one of the local colleges libraries, there are three books volumes of Noblesse Russe by Ferrand, I just have to have my card renewed!!

Lucky! The libraries around here have nothing on Ferrand.  ;D

As far as the yusupov book, I've tried to stay clear of ebay book on the yusupovs. I think they are grossly overpriced as well as some of Ferrand books. I think there is currently two of his books selling online for about $250-$300 and I'm sure I could find it for less than $100.00.

Are there any new pictures/information in the book? Thanks

There are no new pictures in History of the Yusupovs and I know, those books are definitely over priced.  Gilberts royal books is selling a Ferrand book, I saw that.  haha, I was trying to think if I have a favorite book in my collection and I like them all!  I am super glad that I get to borrow three Ferrand from Umass's library!!

The one Ferrand book I've been hunting down is Les Princes Youssoupoff which I can't find anywhere. I have a old very badly damaged copy that is missing pages   :-[  but I would love to get a new copy with all of the pages impact.

The picture can be found in Jacques Ferrand's "les princes Youssoupoff'cited as from the collection of Xenia Sfyris. I don't know if the Yusupov archives have their own copy but I have seen the image in a few Russian books.

I bought  Ferrand's book on the Yusupovs (along with some other books on the Romanovs, etc.---all in French) from the Paris bookstore Cagliani on the Rue de Rivoli ---this was some 10 years ago and I am not sure I have the bookstore's name spelled exactly right .
