Dear Brian, These are so LOVELY!  The black and white ones are stark and  haunting yet you can still feel the gold everywhere.  

I am very passionate about Russian design.  I hope you don't mind.  I just made the b&w photo of the the tables with the crowns and regalia and the fur capes....it looks like someone just walked away and left it all......I made it into the desktop on my computer.  It is striking.

You always share the most wonderful pictures with us, you seem to have them on every subject and palace and person....you are most kind Brian!
