the rooms of the palace

i was wondering as to how many rooms are with in the palace? What kind of rooms are there in the room as well because i wanted to write a story with a palace in it and i do not know what sort of rooms would be in a palace. and maybe even how large a palace like Alexander palace is.

If you search around a bit, you'll find an old thread with architectural plans of the AP that will show you exactly how many rooms were in the palace and how they were laid out during N&A's residence there. Try searching with "floorplans" as your keyword.
