What About the Fictional Book "White Russian" as a Movie?
« on: July 10, 2007, 10:43:09 AM »
I think "The White Russian" would make an excellent movie (I don't think it's been talked about on this board as a movie has it :-\).  The Romanovs are in it briefly, but still a great book nonetheless.  When I read it it played like a movie in my head, what with all the action and fighting and traveling around.  I'm not sure what actors can play what parts.  Does anyone else have any interesting ideas?  I see James McAvoy as the lead character, even though he might be a bit too young to do it right now, or maybe even Jason Issacs.

How to explain..... Well, it's mostly about this crime investegator and his life and his issues.  It begins with a murder on the river in front of the Romanov Palace and this leads to all sorts of questions.  It's a really great book.  Full of details.  It's hard to explain without giving too much away.  You should read it.
