Memorial Works
« on: July 16, 2007, 03:06:04 PM »
Seeing as the 89th Anniversary of NAOTMAA's Execution is tomorrow, maybe some people would be making special things like pictures or poetry or stories, or whatever! I thought it might be a nice idea for people to post anything on this thread to create something of a memorial shrine. If not too many people post, this thread should probably be deleted so as not to waste space.....
"...I am in Tatiana's room...Olga and Tatiana are here. I am sitting and digging in my nose with my left hand... Olga wanted to slap me but I ran away from her swinish hand..."

I wouldn't mind seeing Holly's poem, "23 Steps."

89 years since Yekaterinburg.
Years filled with joy and pain
Things sometimes change so quickly
we forget that much is the same.

Families still love and care
much as it was before
Still people have their regular lives
There's still peace and still there's war

It seems people of today wouldn't have much in common
with the Romanovs "so long ago"
but much like them, we visit friends
rite our thoughts in journals
laugh and just have fun.

So today and tomorrow remember them
not sad and all that stuff
just remember them as a real family
and now i've said enough.

RIP NAOTMAA, Dr. Botkin, Anna Demidova, Alexei Trupp, and Ivan Kharitonov.

RIP NAOTMAA, Dr. Botkin, Anna Demidova, Alexei Trupp, and Ivan Kharitonov.

Thank you for remembering all four of the servants.

Perhaps we should also add Ivan(?) Sednev and Klementy Nagorny, though they were killed before the IF.
