Finally a step towards restoration!! God bless it. However, I read somewhere onn the site that they have no intention of restoring N&A's wing back to how it was....but rather to the original Quarenghi design  I pray it is just a rumour.

Yes I do hope the Russians will restore the Alexander Palace as beautifully as they have done to so many others that were terribly damaged.
