Yes! She does look like she could play a Romanov...either Tatiana or (in my opinion) Maria.

I actually see more of Marie in her than Anastasia. She's Anastasia's age (at the end), 17, but if you were starting this project now it would probably take a good two years at least before it hit the big screen. By then she would be exactly Marie's age! Although a 19 year old can easily enough play a 17 year old as well.

Of course there is no way you're ever going to get the casting perfect.

Exactly edubs31, you will never get a casting perfect. I mean, maybe she could play Anastasia towards the end of her life? Georgie does have those huge blue eyes though, like Marie...

Hmmm....just out of curiousity, what sort of ages would we want for the actresses of OTMA and the actor for Alexei?

For Alexei, I'd go for 11ish, but an eleven year old who could be mature enough to act older than he was. Same with the girls, but for more respectable ages. For example, Maria at 18/17 and Anastasia 15/16. For the older girls, I don't think it would matter so much but make up and hair would have to be considered carefully (as well as clothes etc.)

Not quite as pretty, but yes I see the resemblance. If she played Marie I think most would consider it good casting.

If we were casting a Romanov movie in 1980 with a largely British cast like Nicholas and Alexandra, I have a suggestion for the part of Maria:

Sarah Sutton didn't have Maria's large bust or plumpness but I'm sure a hypothetical 1980 production would have used padding or prosthetic breasts to give an impression of Maria's figure.
