Help! Forum Admin, what is going on here? This is a perfectly valid subject for discussion, but all of a sudden two posters have started slanging off at each other. This is not in accord with the sensible and balanced discussions on this Forum. Please let common sense prevail.

I do remember Sarah and Diana being quite chummy early on. Sarah enjoyed a VERY brief honeymoon period with the British press and public and Diana was actually going through a less favorable period. Then came the juvenile antics--the 2 of them jabbing people with their umbrellas at Ascot, etc which garnered them both a lot of negative coverage...I remember reading the coverage of it at the time--when I was in high school and obsessed with all things Fergie. (THAT didn't last long either.) Apparently Charles moved quickly to convince Diana she wasn't doing herself any favors by continuing to pal around with Sarah. The period of closeness didn't seem to last long overall and, while they renewed their friendship later on in the face of joint maritial issues, even by Sarah's own words they hadn't spoken in awhile before Diana's death.

Did Diana really become a redhead to be like Sarah or was it something that was just made up? I saw a front page of Diana with the red hair, not sure if it was photoshopped or real.
